🧪 Judging Criteria – Mentor Award:
All nominations will be reviewed and scored by the hosts of the Talking Pools Podcast, who together bring decades of experience and deep-rooted passion for the swimming pool industry. Each nominee will be evaluated based on the following:
🔹 Impact (30%)
How has the nominee positively influenced others in the industry? Judges will look for real-world examples of mentorship—whether through personal growth stories, skill development, or meaningful career guidance.
🔹 Knowledge Sharing (25%)
Nominees should consistently demonstrate a willingness to share their expertise. This could be in the form of training new techs, leading team meetings, presenting at events, or offering support in online forums or communities.
🔹 Leadership & Integrity (20%)
Mentors should lead by example—upholding the highest standards of honesty, fairness, professionalism, and ethics in their daily work and mentorship.
🔹 Innovation in Mentorship (15%)
Judges will consider how the nominee adapts or innovates in their mentorship approach—whether it’s creative teaching methods, using technology, or reaching beyond the job to support others personally and professionally.
🔹 Industry Involvement (10%)
The nominee’s engagement with the broader pool industry—such as association membership, training, speaking, writing, or advocacy—will also be considered.
